Anthony Puccio, Village of Lombard Trustee and candidate for Village President, is an advocate for public safety and community development. First elected in 2019 as Village Trustee, he has worked to streamline municipal operations, increase transparency, and become a respected Village with exceptional Operations. Anthony has helped balance the village’s budget by bringing in new revenue streams, stabilize expenses, follow through on waterfall policies and creation of new economic development tools. Over the last 5 years, as Chairperson of Economic and Community Development, he has brought in numerous new projects to the village through a new economic redevelopment program. Anthony believes the best approach to village government is to hire highly qualified professionals and allow them to do their jobs. As leaders we should provide the tone, the resources, and the facilities to support the services for which the staff are responsible to serve the residents of Lombard.
